With the arrivals of Defiance, Edge of Moonlight, and Hokulani last night, we're down to just a few on the "To Be Welcomed" list.  Taking a look at the tracker, we see that the end of the fleet (Angelique, Surya, and Knot Behaving) are still 160-260 miles out and travelling at a leisurely six knots, plus or minus.  Expect another day before we see them.

On the plus side, they got more time on the water per dollar than almost anybody!  The weather forecast shows a pretty nice time on the water for these last few boats, so expect to see some smiling, if a little eager for the comforts of land

The C fleet comes rumbling in with new leader 'Zaff' still on course. What a race! The first B fleet entries arrive this morning with division leader 'Shearwater' sailing towards the line well ahead of the fleet on corrected time. A quintet of cruisers arrive, with several more boats headed towards the barn as we speak.

Much of the fleet is now in, most divisions have been decided, and the Melges 32 Rufless makes history as the first Melges 32 to win its class in a major ocean race. It's all in here and more in your daily race report!

Stuff happens. That, or a saltier version, is a watchword among all who take their boats long distances, and the Pacific Cup (the FUN Race to Hawaii) certainly gets its share of "stuff."
