The early surge of entries continues.  2016 PCYC Commodore Gary Troxel's Tiki Blue will be joining in the fun. This multi-year veteran of the race should give us a lesson not only in "How It's Done," but also "How It's FUN."

PCYC Vice Commodore Buzz Blackett has tossed his cap in the ring with California Condor's entry. The Antrim 40 will be double-handed again, blasting her twin rudders all the way to Kaneohe.  Welcome Back, Blackett!

Similar in size, but likely different programs bring our two latest entries: Sierra is a 2004 Beneteau 423 in the Cruising Division, skippered by Hal Lynam out of Encinal and Oakland Yacht Clubs. Redhead, on the other hand, is a Cal 40 - a venerable breed of boat designed for racing, and is entered in the fully-crewed Racing Division out of Richmond Yacht Club, under the watchful eye of skipper Walter Smith. Both are first-time Pac Cuppers.  Welcome!

SistershipMichael Hutchison's Jenneau, soon to be renamed to Aquavit, now brings our entry count foursquare to sixteen.  Sailing fully crewed and based out of Santa Cruz, the 46-footer is a welcome addition to the fleet. This is exciting progress.
