Ocean Voyages Institute’s Founder and Executive Director Mary T. Crowley states her group’s efforts are just getting started. “With plastic set to outnumber fish by 2040, we humans are responsible

We may never know who all the nearly 400 racers were in our first ever virtual race.  We had near-classic conditions, with a well-formed Pacific High, meaning that those who went north in pursuit of short-term speed paid a price.  The top 50 finishers ALL went south.

It's looking like the lead "Real Pac Cupper" in the race is Rhino (others are bolded), who IRL is Bruce Nelson, who intended to race on Peligroso.  Waiting for a few other confirmations before we hand out the swageroo!
