The FUN race can be extra fun when racing with or against someone similar. We're recruiting hard for one-design divisions, with great promise shown in Cal 40, Santa Cruz 50, and Express classes. With a sufficient boat count (and interest by the participants), a one-design division sailing either boat-for-boat or handicapped may be declared.
Even if we don't get a full division, if we get "three of a kind", a one-design prize will be given to the best-performing boat, even if racing in a different division (i.e. double-handed vs fully-crewed). Why not urge a sistership to come out and play?
Team Trophy: Three Boats, One Club
A special trophy, deeded by Encinal Yacht Club, will be awarded to the team of three boats from the same yacht club with the best combined performance in their respective divisions. So far, this has been won by Encinal and Richmond. Will you be the team to bring it home this year?

If the folks on your boat look familiar, maybe it's because they ARE. We've always had a soft spot for family enterprizes, whether it's a multigenerational voyage, a parent-child adventure, or the honeymoon of a lifetime, a prize will be awarded to the best-performing family effort.
